This solid, stable 5-foot base has an infinitely variable height adjustment that releases the collet by pressing the foot pedal. This leaves both hands free for height adjustment. The collet is tested with a pressure of around 1000 kg. The lower part of the roller trestle is very resistant to dust and impact and is particularly stable with its 5 feet. No lubrication of the device is necessary.
